A hoverboard: how does it work?
Everyone is reluctant to try it out for fear of falling, but rest assured, the hoverboard is for everyone, it’s only a helping hand. Once mastered, you will not be able to do without it!
Hoverboard, a helping hand
A hoverboard, also called a smartboard, is a kind of electric skateboard on which the user will be able to move, once mounted on it, by leaning in different directions such as for example forward to move forward. So, you just have to place your feet on the platform and then steer this skateboard by simply transferring weight by leaning forward, then to the left or right to turn and finally to lean slightly back to stop the device progress. LEDs will also indicate the direction you are going like the turn signals on a car. This new high-tech gadget will allow you, after getting started quickly (or rather on foot), to move around effortlessly.
That said, the platform (segways)you will be standing on is at a height of 15 cm, so we advise you to equip yourself with suitable protection such as a helmet and wrist guards for training. But more than just a new mode of travel, it is also a real fashion accessory adopted by many celebrities on the other side of the Atlantic. It is eco-friendly: it recharges for 2 to 3 hours for a range of about 25km (depending on the model), this electric skate is therefore ideal for going to work or for short daily trips.
Instructions for use
For the practical side, we explain how to learn to use a hoveboard and to stand on the platform. Then you just need to step onto the skateboard one foot at a time quickly and stand as straight as possible, like below:
Once in place on the mini skate, all you have to do is gently lean forward to move forward and just as gently backward to move back:
This exercise is educational to learn to move forward and backward easily with the electric skate and succeed in finding the necessary balance for its conduct. You can ask to be accompanied during your various tests so that you can adopt this way of getting around.
Warning: You must stay as straight as possible and be able to balance your weight on the platforms evenly on BOTH sides of the skateboard. If it leans too much to one side, the skate may come to a sudden stop because the weight will not be distributed ideally (the sensor will understand that someone is getting off the skateboard and it will therefore stop):
Then to turn right, just push lightly on the right leg (weight transfer) and the mini skate will move to the right. (hummer hoverboard)Same thing on the left leg, in order to turn left. If this pressure is maintained on the right or left leg, the mini skate will then enter clockwise rotation (clockwise – right leg) or counterclockwise rotation (counterclockwise – left leg) and that on the spot. It will take a few minutes for you to master this hoverboard perfectly and succeed in finding the perfect balance for its driving.
